COLUMBUS, OH, August 05, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Artromick, a leading provider of medication management and mobile cart solutions worldwide, announced it will unveil the latest extension in its full line of mobile computing carts for long-term care healthcare facilities. The Artromick LTCi Medication Cart incorporates the latest mobile hardware and power system solutions with the full-functionality of the Artromick LTC Medication Cart line. This addition augments the complete Artromick line of mobile computing workstations and point-of-care medication servers already present in the long-term care sector of the United States.

"Artromick is proud to bring the latest solutions to the long-term care market, further evidence of our continued leadership as we enter a new age of technology in healthcare," stated John Himmelstein, VP of long-term care sales for Artromick. "Creating superior mobile computing cart solutions is our #1 goal for the long-term care sector, and now this next generation of Artromick cart solutions will advance the efficiency of nurses, enhance resident care, and bring timely data collection right to the point of care."

In addition to the new LTCi Medication Cart, Artromick offers a wide range of mobile computer cart solutions featuring powerful PC options, including All-In-One computers, thin-client systems, and a choice of methods to incorporate laptop and tablet computers. According to Vice President of Product Development, Tim Friar, Artromick did not design this cart alone. "We went to the thought leaders in the extended care market and performed extensive research on how these products would be used in the care environment. Today, these solutions are being deployed in the premier long-term care chains across the United States. Our mobile computer cart solutions have been widely embraced in the acute care market for several years, and now the long-term care market recognizes our experience and how we are uniquely qualified to meet their requirements in this area."

Paul Guth, president and COO of Artromick, pointed out the evolution of healthcare has now reached the full spectrum of care. "Artromick understands healthcare IT; we have extensive experience deploying these solutions in the acute care market for several years. Today, point-of-care data management in long-term care is becoming necessary as it will help facilities optimize reimbursement. We know they are looking for the best solutions in terms of mobile computing cart technology. Our 38-years of innovation in long-term care and extensive experience implementing mobile computing into healthcare is evidence that Artromick continues to lead. We help long-term care facility chains shape their vision and serve as a healthcare IT and mobile computing consultant.
